Go Away Gray

Go away gray

Dear Heather,

I am writing to tell you about a hair supplement to avoid. Go Away Gray boasts that just by taking Go Away Gray, the user will have thicker hair, darker hair and even re grow hair! I bought Go Away Gray for my husband and it did nothing for him. It seems like the only real beneficial supplement in Go Away Gray to help with hair loss is biotin. Biotin does help a bit with hair and nail growth but you can buy it for far less than Go Away Gray. Go Away Gray did not help my balding husband re-grow hair. I think rather than spend $29.99 plus shipping on Go Away Gray men are better battling male pattern baldness with Propecia and Rogain rather than Go Away Gray.

Has anyone else out there used Go Away Gray? Does Go Away Gray work? Go Away Gray did not work for us. It says it is designed to undo the causes of gray hair at the cellular level. But does not even list the causes! Also I don't think the people at Go Away Gray realize that gray hair and thinning hair are 2 different things entirely!

Anyone else get no results from Go Away Gray?

Tina

  1. I haven't used Go Away Gray, but I can say that the basic premise is sound. About a year ago, researchers discovered that hydrogen peroxide is produced in hair follicle cells. This HP is normally neutralized by an anti-oxidant enzyme called Catalase. As we age, Catalase levels dip, allowing the HP to go unchecked and bleach hair color. The process is not fully understood, but this is a major component of hair COLOR loss. It has nothing to do with hair loss.

Some have argued that since Catalase only works in it's folded state, it cannot be taken orally because stomach acids will unfold the protein making it inactive. However, lab studies have shown that much of the protein refolds once it returns to blood ph levels, so in theory, this should work for many people. As you have noted, any hair REGROWTH can only be attributed to other ingredients such as B-6 vitamins, etc.
